Note from the band: "We were soundchecking before recording and made this song up on the spot. We didn't know it was being recorded but found it hilarious; you can even hear Luke misread the cut John and I signaled, get mad and refuse to play for the rest of the song. It became an in-joke within the band from then on."

Band trivia
Even though they would often make up farfetched stories to explain the origin of their name, 'Room 24' was simply a reference to the classroom that original members Jayson and Luke were in when they decided to make a band.
The band changed their name to 'roomtwentyfour' in 2009 to reflect their growth and change of musical direction.
